Zuidnatie the only terminal operator in Europe to be selected as Port/Terminal Operator of the Year
Zuidnatie has been nominated for the Heavy Lift Awards in the category ‘Port/Terminal Operator of the Year’.
Zuidnatie has been nominated for the Heavy Lift Awards in the category ‘Port/Terminal Operator of the Year’. This makes Zuidnatie the only terminal operator in Europe to be selected.
The award is presented to a port authority or terminal operator that has mainly proven its capabilities in the field of loading and unloading heavy cargo. The jury scored the participating companies on the basis of the following points:
- The safe and efficient handling of large cargoes
- Investment in new equipment and facilities for the storage and handling of large loads
- Maintenance of existing facilities
- Minimising waiting times for customers
- Investments in technology to optimise loading procedures

The award ceremony will take place on 22 September in Hamburg (Hotel Grand Elysée). Other nominees in the category are Port of Everett, Port of Grenaa, T.Parker Host and Logistec Stevedoring. Zuidnatie will also be present during the award show.
